Dr. Vivek Jain, an esteemed advisory board member at Finolity Consultancy Services, is an Associate Professor in the Mechanical Engineering Department at Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology, Patiala. He earned his Ph.D. from IIT Roorkee in 2012 and holds an M.Tech. from Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College and a B.Tech. from Rajiv Gandhi College of Engineering. With over 14 years of teaching experience and 2 years in the industry, Dr. Jain’s expertise spans Biomedical Engineering, Machining, Composites, and Surface Engineering.
His research contributions include multiple publications in international and national journals and three Indian patents. Dr. Jain has led significant research projects, including a completed project on microchannel simulation and an ongoing project on microwave-processed cladding funded by the SERB, DST. He has also supervised numerous master’s theses and is currently guiding four Ph.D. candidates.
